On June 8, 2023, Friends President Paula Goodwin and Friends member Tina Grosowsky met with Representative Lori Trahan’s Outreach Director Jake Mastandrea, at the Office Hours offered at the Hudson Town Hall. Tina shared her appreciation for the Refuge and its importance to the community as well as its importance for carbon sequestration and mitigating the effects of climate change.

Paula and Tina strongly advocated that Representative Trahan should work towards increasing the budget of the Refuge System.
